Reserving a Facility

It is the mission of the Board of Education to make school facilities available to the community. We welcome the use of our buildings by school groups, community groups, and private organizations. Facilitating community access to schools is an important goal of the Community Education and Recreation office. 

If you are interested in using one of the elementary or middle school facilities outside of normal school hours, please do the following:

1)  Read through the rental regulations for facility use.

2) You can find the rental fees for elementary and middle school facilities here.

2)  Complete this form and submit as early as possible.

3)  Your request will be reviewed and you will be given an update within 10 business days. Final determinations may take longer, depending on the school schedule.

DIAMOND RENTALSWe are not accepting diamond rental requests for 2026 at this time. More information will be available in February 2026.

Rec & Ed partners with the City of Ann Arbor to provide community rental opportunities for the City owned softball and baseball diamonds. If interested in ball diamond rental please use this form to submit a request. You can find rental fees on the form as well.
