Fees

Registration Fee - $7 per activity per student (non-refundable)
 

FULL-TIME (AM and PM) - $621/month ($590/month with discount*)

*NEW! For the 25-26 school year, Rec & Ed is offering a 5% tuition discount in the form of a credit to families registered for full-time care. This credit will be paid into families' accounts once in January and again in June. More details will be sent to families who register for full-time care.   

BEFORE CARE ONLY

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday - $148.80/month
  • Tuesday, Thursday - $99.20/month 
  • Full-time (M, T, W, Th, F) - $248/month  

AFTER CARE ONLY

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday - $223.80/month  

  • Tuesday, Thursday - $149.20/month

  • Full-time (M, T, W, Th, F) - $373/month

Registration and Billing:

  • To register, families must set up a monthly automatic payment plan with a credit or debit card.
  • Fees reflect the full cost of running the childcare program for active days of each session, and evenly splitting into ELEVEN payments. For the 2025-26 school year, the first payment is July 23, and the last payment is May 23.
  • Please refer to the last section of your receipt for exact monthly payment dates.
  • Payments made by check or cash will avoid credit card processing fees. They can be dropped in our exterior drop box located at the Rec & Ed Office or sent via US mail, and must be received before the due date.  
  • Note: If there is an outstanding balance on your Rec & Ed account, the balance must be zero to register for childcare services. Please contact us at 734-994-2300 ext. 53253 for additional questions regarding billing and payments.
  • To request cancellation of Before/After Care services, please send an email to cancel@a2schools.org. Include the following: student(s) name, school, session(s) to be withdrawn from, and last expected date of attendance. 
  • A 14 day notice of cancellation is required for a prorated refund.

Financial Assistance

  • The Rec & Ed Scholarship Program offers 25%, 50%, and 75% childcare fee waivers to Before/After Care (BAC) families. BAC scholarships are available to any student attending a participating elementary school and whose household meets eligibility requirements.
