Volleyball - Spring 2025

SPRING VOLLEYBALL IS 6 WEEKS.  

• The season is tentatively scheduled to start the week of April 7th , 2025.
• All teams play 6 matches.
• No weeknight games during AAPS Spring Break (March 24-28, 2025).

NIGHTS OF PLAY & LEAGUE OFFERINGS 

GAME SITES AND TIMES

• All games are played at AAPS Middle Schools. Start times for weeknight matches will be as early as 7:00pm and as late as 9:50pm.

PRACTICE TIMES AND PERMITS

• Check with the league director ebrinson@a2schools.org about practice gym availability for teams to rent in spring.

Registration takes place online on the dates below:

All team registrations are due by 4:30 March 3rd. Teams are advised to register promptly to be sure of getting a spot as our leagues fill up very quickly. All registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and leagues are closed as they fill, regardless of deadline.

• Have a returning captain
• Have four returning players with signatures 

Open registration is for all new teams or returning teams that did not participate in the league during the previous year.

ONLINE REGISTRATION (for sponsor/initial registration fee only)

• You can register your team online or over the phone during business hours (8:30-4:30) at 734-994-2300 x0.
• NOTE:  Online registration is for initial/sponsor registration only, which reserves your team’s spot in the league.  Captains will still need to submit their team roster and additional team fees by the contract deadline to complete their team's registration.
• Only returning captains can register online during the pre-registration day. Returning captains receive a code to use to pre-register online.  Anyone can register online after the first day of registration.
• NOTE: ROSTERS AND TEAM FEES SHOULD BE SUBMITTED by email/scan to brinsone@a2schools.org. ROSTERS AND MONEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE GYMS.

Email the league director if you need to make roster additions or need to look at the free agent list. 

Players may participate on only one team in each program. For example, a woman may play on one Women's team and one CoRec, but not on two Women's teams.  Men may not play in the women's program, but women may play in the men's program.  Players must be at least 16 years old, unless specific permission is requested by the parent and an exception is granted by the Team Sports Manager.

EXCEPTIONS: A player MAY play on 1 CoRec 6-person, 1 CoRec Quads team, plus CoRec Instructional.   

STANDINGS AND STATISTICS
Standings are available on the website.  To verify standings, call the statistician at the Rec & Ed office at 994-2300 x53218.

UNIFORMS
Uniforms are not required for participation in the Rec & Ed Volleyball league.

AWARDS

•  Team and individual player awards will be given to the champion of each league and playoff.
•  Leagues or Divisions with 9 or more teams receive runner-up individual awards.   

REFUND POLICY
 Teams requesting a sponsor/deposit fee refund must complete and submit a refund request form or email the League Director.
